Birdie Putt

After watching the Scottish Open from Loch Lomond I've started a series of paintings with a golfing theme.

The Fairway

My last painting 'Gone Fishing' was the result of thinking about song titles. This one was to be entitled 'Straight Down the Middle' but that was too long to fit on the label for the Exhibition so it is called 'The Fairway'. I am not too happy with it but am working on some more on the golfing theme.

Gone Fishing

I finished this picture yesterday ready to put in our Art Club exhibition which is held the first week of August.

Prussia Cove

This cove is on the south coast quite near to Penzance and it was the home of an infamous pirate who called himself "The King Of Prussia".

Dabbling Ducks

This is one of my favourite pictures and I am very proud of it. I did it many moons ago in an Adult Education class. It won a gold star in a Cornwall Federation of Women’s Institutes Competition! There must be upwards of 800 pieces of material in this collage, I know it took me a heck of a long time to do it!

Mudeford Quay

This was painted during my last painting holiday about three years ago. I really enjoyed the holiday inspite of the fact that it rained every day!

Geese

We used to keep geese, goats and a pony. Aahh - Happy Days.
